Terms and Conditions

Turnaround Time:
Due to the nature that everything Sensei 6 do is custom built-to-order, please do keep in mind that custom builds will most likely take a long time. A 10 weeks wait time is required at the bare minimum.
Please keep in mind that these are just very rough estimated time frames used for reference, as many circumstances and unforeseen events do often come by. There are absolutely no return or cancellations once a deposit is in place. NO EXCEPTIONS!!! Custom parts needs time to be manufactured, machined, polished. Custom finishes needs to be placed in a line for chemical stripping, refinishing (sometimes involving multiple stages and many redos). Certain builds require additional machining and welding work. With that being said, we will always strive to push out your product at the fastest rate we can, while producing you a high quality result.

Return Claims:
Sensei 6 will generally not accept any returns unless the product received does not match description on website or invoice.

All items for sale are accurately described to the best of our abilities. Please reconfirm the item based on its descriptions prior to making a purchase. If there are any questions or concerns, feel free to send us an email.

Any refunds given (whether or not if this is a mistake made by the purchaser) via Paypal will not be given back with a Paypal Fee. This is due to a recent policy change made on Paypal.

Sensei 6 will not accept returns from the following reasons:
- Customer Unfamiliar with Product
- Deliberate Fraud
- Incorrect Product or Size Ordered (Again, please double check prior to ordering)
- Incorrect Install of a Proper Sized Tire (Such as Stretching Tires).
- Faulty Installation of a tire due to a technicians' fault.

Damaged Shipments
All of our shipments are 100% insured. It is very important to inspect your product thoroughly before accepting and signing for your carton. Packaging that appears in good condition does not guarantee that there is no “hidden” damage. The only way to be certain is to fully unpack and examine the contents carefully before signing. Legally, by applying your signature, you are signing a document stating that you have inspected the item and it is in good condition. We have no recourse when the item is signed for, any later claim for un-noticed (“hidden/concealed”) damage must be filed by you with UPS or FedEx.

Many times it is common practice by UPS or FedEx to leave packages on your doorstep if no one is available for signature. Again, please inspect the package by fully unpacking and examining the contents. If you notice damage to the product during your inspection, please call our customer service department immediately. Claims must by filed within 7 days after receipt. We will issue a return goods authorization (RGA) number if claim is made within the timeframe stated.

For un-noticed (“hidden/concealed”) damage call UPS at 800-742-5877 or FedEx at 800-463-3339 with your tracking number to report the damage. If you notice damage to the product during inspection, refuse the package and note the damage on the bill of lading. Please call our customer service department immediately and we will issue a return goods authorization (RGA) number.

Repairing/Refinishing Services
Any wheel repair or refinish jobs are done at the best of our abilities, at the extend of what condition the wheels are to begin with. We strive to restore every job to close to perfection, but they will not and cannot be perfect or new.
You as the customer must understand and agree to not expect a "perfect" or "new" wheel after the service has been performed.
Any wheel, no matter how slightly bent, MAY crack during the straightening process. We assure you that most wheels do not crack, and we take every precaution to maintain the integrity of your wheel throughout the process. In the event that your wheel does crack and is not repairable, we will not charge for time or labor spent in the effort to make the wheel straight. If we deem a wheel unsafe, we will not remount your tire and wheel onto the vehicle (No Exceptions). This is done for your safety. However, you, the customer, will be responsible for the cost of a replacement wheel (which you may purchase at Sensei 6 or you are free to go elsewhere). Occasionally small marks or discoloring may be left during straightening if the wheel was either severely bent or has a top lip bend, and by having your wheel straightened, you agree that this is acceptable.
Certain types of cracks cannot be welded and not all wheels are repairable. Most often this is due to safety reasons or structural compromise. Sometimes it makes more economic sense and is less expensive to replace a damaged wheel with a reconditioned or used wheel.
Estimates given to customers do not constitute a contractual obligation on cost. Your wheel will be reviewed by our staff upon processing and we will contact you in the event of any cost changes. Extra charges may result from plated finishes, specialty color matches and severely damaged or bent conditions.
We reserve the right to modify pricing in certain cases, but will always inform you and ask for consent before any price increase is billed or before any extra work is done. Our wheel refinishing results are at the top end of the industry’s standards. It must be stated, though, that no matter how good a refinishing process is, it still does not produce a brand new wheel. As many times, refinishing an used wheel will not always guarantee the results of a brand new wheel. When refinishing a wheel, you must expect that there may be some small imperfections in the finish such as subtle color variation to original equipment, metallurgical variations in the wheel alloy itself that cannot be refinished, an occasional dust particle in the sealed finish, pre-existing cosmetic injury that exceeds what can be safely filled or machined, the back and inside barrel may not be dressed and similar features. Our results are regarded by many customers as fantastic, even so, a refinished wheel will never perfectly match an original new wheel from its manufacture. You agree to set your expectations accordingly, and if you have any special matching or finish requirements, you need to specify them in advance so they can be written into the workorder and invoice.

Please note that most of our used wheels come from Japan and are easily 10+ years old. They come from an environment that is highly prone to corrosion, which is an irreversible mutation to the raw metal itself. For the wheels to be in used condition, things such as corrosion or chrome pitting is normal. Sensei 6 offers a refinishing service at an additional cost in order to refurbish them to a certain extent. However, although we do try our best to work with what we have, please do NOT expect used parts to look as if brand new.
